IRIC 2023 Scientific Day highlights new generation of scientists

IRIC’s 10th Scientific Day, held on May 26, showcased the work of the Institute’s scientific community. Over 150 people attended the event, which featured 12 oral presentations and 63 poster presentations. These sparked lively discussions and exchanges, which will provide food for thought for all.

Amélie Fradet-Turcotte, Associate Professor in the Department of Molecular Biology, Medical Biochemistry and Pathology of the Faculty of Medicine of the Université Laval, and researcher at the Centre de recherche du CHU de Québec, attended the Scientific Day as guest speaker. Holder of the Canada Research Chair in Molecular Virology and Genomic Instability, she presented her work on the protection of genomic stability during the DNA repair process.
