KO Cancer, an initiative led by the IRIC Young Philanthropists

Since 2016, twenty or so young professionals from the Montreal business milieu have gotten involved to support cancer research. Lawyers, associates, pharmacists, investors, Investigators or consultants, they have all decided to devote some of their time to focus on fighting the disease.

The founder, Sébastien D’Incau (Advisor, Egon Zehnder) decided to organize a boxing gala. Close to 350 people have gotten together each year since then, to watch amateur boxers, who have undergone three months of intensive training, square-off for the cause.

So far, the mobilization of these young philanthropists has resulted in raising over $340,000. Their involvement contributes to the advancement of knowledge and enables Investigators to move closer to new therapeutic solutions benefiting patients.

Would you like to get involved, become an ambassador for cancer research and organize an event to benefit IRIC?
