Thanks to the Blais Family Fund Golf Tournament, $70 000 was raised to support the research against cancer at IRIC

More than 144 golfers gathered at the Buckingham Golf Club on July 6th for the Blais Family Fund Golf Tournament. $70 000 was raised to support the research against cancer at IRIC.
Pierre Blais, founder of the Blais Family Fund Golf Tournament, survived cancer thanks to an innovative procedure suggested by Dr. Sauvageau, Principal Investigator at IRIC and hematologist at Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital.
A fashion show was organized for the first time in April and in May, the Blais Family Fund was mobilised to organize a poker tournament.
IRIC would like to thank the President of this 9th Edition, Mrs. Anik Maisonneuve, the Organizing Committee led by Mrs. Cyntia Plouffe and all Blais family members and friends for supporting the research conducted at the Institute.
More than $400 000 has been raised over the last nine years by the Blais Family Fund, benefiting IRIC.
