A major donation of $750,000 in support of cancer research

On October 1, four loyal IRIC donors, Danielle Lysaught, Paul Hamelin, Nigel Hamer and Jean-Marc Rousseau, received an IRIC lab coat, a symbolic gesture to thank them for their ongoing dedication to IRIC research.
Through a recent significant donation of $750,000, these philanthropists have not only enabled IRIC to hire two new elite researchers, Olivier Mailhot and Carino Guarjo, but also made possible the creation of the Fonds de souscription en sciences de données biomédicales de l’IRIC, thereby expanding the Institute’s areas of expertise and its capacity for innovation.
IRIC extends its heartfelt gratitude to these donors. By creating new opportunities for scientists and providing them with the necessary resources, we are all making a difference in the fight against cancer.
