Tell us about a professional achievement that makes you proud.
I really love it when a team project that brings people together is a big success. When everyone gets on board and pushes in the same direction to achieve common goals. When, on top of that, the results are there, it’s super satisfying. 😊
Do you have a memorable anecdote related to IRIC?
If someone had told me when I started studying biochemistry that one day I would be filming in a fire station for my job, I think I would have been skeptical (laughs). That’s what I love about IRIC: we have a lot of room for creativity!
What is your wish for the future of cancer research?
I hope that, as a society, we continue to support research guided by the curiosity of researchers, so that even the most original avenues can be explored.
