IRIC - Institute for Research in Immunology and Cancer

Each year, the IRIC Student Recruitment Event offers students interested in pursuing graduate studies in cancer research a unique opportunity to participate in an international recruitment event at the Institute for Research in Immunology and Cancer at the University of Montreal.

The 2026 edition took place from June 2 to 5 and welcomed 33 participants from various universities around the world. During this edition, more than 182 interviews were scheduled between the participants and the Institute’s researchers in attendance at the event.

During their stay, the participants were able to:

• Visit IRIC and its laboratories;
• Meet principal investigators and their research units;
• Network with IRIC students through various activities;
• Participate in a day of one-on-one interviews with principal investigators of their choice;
• Visit the University of Montreal campus;
• Participate in an evening of activities in Montreal with IRIC students.
