The Canadian Institutes of Health Research Funds Two Projects from Guy Sauvageau’s Laboratory

The Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) recently awarded grants for the Project program as part of the Spring 2026 competition. This program aims to support original ideas with the potential to advance fundamental and applied knowledge in health.
Across the country, 439 research projects, representing a total investment of $412 million, were funded. Two projects from IRIC’s Molecular Genetics of Stem Cells Research Unit, led by Guy Sauvageau, received funding.
