Science at the heart of Summer Interns’ Scientific Day at IRIC!

The 8th IRIC Summer Summer Interns’ Scientific Day once again showcased the talent, creativity, and dedication of our young scientists. The event was organized by the IRIC Office of Academic Affairs in collaboration with summer interns.
In front of their colleagues and members of the IRIC community, 16 interns rose to the challenge of presenting their research projects through oral presentations and scientific posters, highlighting the discoveries they made during their internship. The presentations were evaluated by judges who are doctoral or postdoctoral researchers at IRIC. The four award-winning interns are:
- Aya Essadiqi, Michel Bouvier’s lab – Poster Presentation Award
- Katherine Leung, Carino Gurjao’s lab – Poster Presentation Award
- Nikolas Bruic, Anne Marinier’s lab – Poster Presentation Award
- Emma Boyajian, Anne Marinier’s lab – Oral Presentation Award.
