Assistant Research Professor
The Institute for Research in Immunology and Cancer (IRIC) calls for applications for a position at the rank of
Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Université de Montréal (UdeM).
IRIC is seeking applications to develop a high-level research program in aging and cancer that may include, but is not limited to, the following areas of interest: senescence, inflammaging, metabolic, cancerous or immune alterations, including the identification of therapeutic targets and the development of innovative strategies in geroprotection, geoscience, cellular rejuvenation and immune modulation.
Experimental paradigms could include, but are not limited to: model organisms, computational modeling based on machine learning/AI, single-cell and single-molecule analysis, functional genomics and proteomics, metabolomics, systems biology, structural and chemical biology.
The successful candidate will be integrated into IRIC’s dynamic and collegial environment, with state-of-the-art infrastructures and 26 research teams, to contribute to the advancement knowledge of cancer and the development of therapies.
The expected start date is February 1st, 2026 – or according to the availability of the successful candidate.

Hold a PhD in a related field and demonstrate substantial experience and productivity in a relevant field;
