Matthew Smith

Cancer Signalling and Structural Biology

After obtaining his Ph.D. in Molecular and Medical Genetics at the University of Toronto, Dr. Matthew Smith carried out a postdoctoral fellowship in the Medical Biophysics Department of the Ontario Cancer Institute.

He joined IRIC in December of 2015 as a Principal Investigator in the Cancer Signalling and Structural Biology Research Unit. He holds a position of Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology and Cell Biology at the Université de Montréal’s Faculty of Medicine, and a Tier II Canada Research Chair in Cancer Signalling and Structural Biology.
